ĀIO Tallow is made with grass-fed and finished Tallow sourced from both Aotearoa and Tasmania blended with organic golden cold pressed jojoba oil.
Our Lavender and Rose blend is infused using high quality lavender essential oil sourced from both Tasmania and Wanaka and organic rose.
These ingredients were carefully chosen for their healing properties and for the feminine essence that rose brings to the blend.

How to use
A little goes a long way. Take a tiny amount and apply all over face and body. Tallow is a natural fat based product and texture can change depending on temperature.
If you would like it more firm, keep it in a cool place like the fridge. If you would like the texture softer keep it at room temperate.
Keep out of sunlight and away from moisture.
Lasts 9 months stored in a cool place out of direct sunlight.
Lasts even longer in the fridge.

Can use on lips for nourishment and healing
Can use on ends of hair as a treatment
Can use as after sun skincare especially if the skin is needing some extra love after being in the sun.

Each batch may vary one from the next. This is due to the natural and organic nature of the product.
There are many factors that can contribute to the variation of tallow creams. Each cow is unique and the rendering process can vary slightly each batch.
Seasons and temperatures can change the texture and appearance of the tallow too. Please note this is normal and doesn't change the quality of the product.
Our tallow has a natural tallow scent and maybe strong for those with sensitive noses, we find the scent disappears after a few minutes once rubbed in. Many people don't notice it in the lavender and rose blend and really enjoy the smell.
